For a long time, African narrative has been controlled by others except Africans themselves. A certain wrong, demeaning and deliberate picture has been painted to describe Africa to the outside world and even to the African themselves.
As the late Lumumba once said in his speech and I quote: “History will one day have its say, but it will not be the history that Brussels, Paris, Washington or the United Nations will teach, but that which they will teach in the countries emancipated from colonialism and its puppets. Africa will write its own history, and it will be, to the north and to the south of the Sahara, a history of glory and dignity. That time is now when Africans are standing up to write and tell their own history.
DTM TV Enyanya is just part of the multitude of the sons and daughter of Africa tired with the deceitful narrative about them and intend to present Africa differently to the world and world to Africa…
