Africa: Madagascar, Mozambique and Malawi hit by tropical storm Ana, At least 46 People reported dead.

The disaster agency of Madagascar has reported that nearly 65,000 people have been left homeless in the wake of Storm Ana, with low-lying areas remaining on high alert. John Razafimandimby, rescue unit director with Madagascar’s disaster management agency told the media: “We are in the process of evacuating people from flooded areas”. Mozambique has already reported a large portion of the damage, as its National Institute for Management and Disaster Risk Reduction said on Tuesday that 54 people had been injured and 895 evacuated in the previous 24 hours.
